Kathy Inside R.E.D Shed at WHHR

Kathy is is one of a pair of 84hp 4wDH locomotives (the other was Emma) built for tunnel construction work by Hunslet-Barclay in Leeds (Builder's number LD9350 of 1994). It was the second last locomotive constructed at the world-famous Hunslet works. Hired out by the makers, it was used by the consortium that built the Jubilee Line underground railway in London.

The locomotive arrived at Gelert's Farm in March 2003 and was expected to be modified for use in passenger service.
