The British Electricity Authority (BEA) was the name given to the nationalised electric supply industry during the period 1948 - 1955 and therefore is relevant to railway in connection with the Llyn Ystradau power scheme.
For a discussion of the relationship between the FR and the BEA and the local authorities see this reference.[1]
