Tim Davies worked on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways from 2000 - 2003, initially as the Traffic and Commercial Manager under Alan Heywood, then becoming the Corporate and Public Affairs Manager under Ken Allen.
The roles covered marketing, brand building, PR, community liaison, events, B2B negotiations, the media, product development, diversification and sustainability. As well as the Ffestiniog Railway and the growing Welsh Highland Railway, promoted Spooners, the shops and cafe, plus Boston Lodge, developing strategic alliances with local businesses and achieving sponsorship deals.
Worked with the local communities alongside the course of the Welsh Highland Railway while it was being rebuilt, especially so with Beddgelert, to highlight the benefits that the rebuilt railway would bring to the area and local businesses. Represented the FR Co. at regular liaison meetings in conjunction with Roland Doyle.
Lived in Minffordd Station House from 2001 - 2003.
