Alice Lloyd

Born 1804 in what was later to become Portmadoc. She married Howell Lloyd and they lived in Minffordd crossing house from about 1860. It is thought he husband died not long after and she became the Minffordd (Quarry Lane) gatekeeper until at least 1872.
