Sometime in the 1960's, Blanche had an accident in the woods, and this location now carries the name Blanche's Bump.
The location is between Trwyn-y-Garnedd (above Cei Mawr) and Gysgfa crossing, more precisely coming immediately after Trwyn-y-Garnedd top curve and the informally named "Tro Bocs Cachu", and before Gysgfa curve and crossing.
