Bryn y Felin Road bridge or the A498 Road Bridge carries that road over the Welsh Highland Railway as it runs from Beddgelert south towards Tremadog and thence by the A487 to Porthmadog. Adjacent to this bridge is the Bryn y Felin River Bridge.
This bridge underwent a rebuild in during 2008, when the original WHR structure from the 1920s was completely replaced. A major diversion had to be created for the road traffic, over a temporary level crossing. Rail construction traffic was halted for a short period. This didn't prove too much of a problem as it was planned in advance and much of the needed material was transported beyond this site to the required points on the line. This section was not then open to passenger traffic.

Following completion of the rebuild, Upnor Castle continued to provide traction power for the construction work.
