How do you want to play Earl Of Merioneth I ?? Livingston Thompson ?? --Keith 21:50, 17 April 2007

Keith - My thoughts are that we call the category [[Category:Livingston Thompson]] covering Taliesin II and Earl of Merioneth. --Stewart 05:28, 18 April 2007

I would have thought EOM for the current holder of title - as it has the title ... and LT for the previous box now in NRM, to include Tal 2 refs in there, as it only ran as EOM for 10 out of 121 yrs

Box 1 - and [[Category:Livingston Thompson]] Built 1886
1886 - 1932 - Livingston Thompson....46y
1932 - 1961 - Taliesin (II)..................29y
1961 - 1971 - EOM..........................10yr
1971 - 1979 - EOM but out of ticket....8yr
1979 - now. - Livingston Thompson....28yr

Box 2 - and [[Category:Earl Of Merioneth]] Built 1979
1979 - now. - EOM...........................28yr

For consistency, shouldn't the categories match the pages names? ie EoM II for 'the square'? Why have one system for loco category titles but another for loco page titles? simply use the titles and explanatory notes already established in the pages for the loco's with identity crisis'
If I click on your category EoM I get articles and pictures of 'the square'. But the article titled EoM is about LT; the article for 'the square' is under EoM II? We should be consistent.

Now having three ways of doing it - I withdraw (and reduce the options to 2) - continue how you feel fit --Keith 07:29, 18 April 2007
For consistency - as I would suggest we follow the way put forward by Anonymous User 86.145.211.234, this is what has been done for Taliesin and Taliesin III. --Stewart 18:15, 18 April 2007
