David Owen (1870)

David Owen was born in in 1870 Anglesey. He joined the FR in 1893 as a porter The 1901 census shows him living at Genfron Terrace, Blaenau and working as a porter at Duffws. Between 1912 & 1919 he is referred to as a Foreman porter but thereafter as plain porter. Maybe loosing the title meant that his pay could be reduced! The last reference to him is still a porter at Duffws in the spring of 1927.

He cannot be found in the 1911 census.
