David Richard Davies

Born Penrhyn January 1894. Son of Evan Davies (1862) (a railway brakesman) and Catherine of Boston House, High Street, Penrhyn and had five sisters. Joined FR as platelayer in bottom gang 12th October 1914. Left the FR on 27th February 1915 and joined Royal Welsh Fusiliers (No. 25465) on 28th February. Killed in Action on 20th October 1918 in France probably near Valencienne.[1]
