David Williams (1799)

David Williams was born in 1799 and died in 1869 marrying Annie Louisa Loveday Williams in 1840. He was trained as a solicitor. He was elected MP for Merioneth in 1868 and became clerk of the peace for Merioneth, 1842-59, one of the deputy-lieutenants for Merioneth and Caernarvonshire, high sheriff for Merioneth, 1861-2, and for Caernarvonshire, 1862-3. He lived in Castle Deudraeth, which was formally his brother's house and sometimes called Bron Eryri.

Arthur Osmond is usually referred to as the eldest son which he clearly wasn't but his elder brother probably died before his father.

He also acted as agent for the Madocks estates and in this capacity seems to have had many dealings with James Spooner and later his son Charles Easton Spooner.
