Day Log/1869-09-14
On this day, the company held its first meeting since the passing of the 1869 Act. The officers present consisted of Andrew Durham who was called upon to chair the meeting, Charles Gaussen, John Graves Livingston, George Augustus Huddart and Livingston Thompson. Alongside was C E Spooner, who acted as manager, secretary, and engineer.
The board voted to borrow the sum of £12,000 on the most favourable terms possible. [1]
