Day Log/1875-05-13

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

On this day a truck was being loaded with stone by a contractor, and his men, at one of the quarries and the brake was not properly engaged. It was struck by some other trucks being shunted, and it started off and ran back down the line towards Dinas Station where it collided with some loaded coal waggons. No one was hurt but two of the coal trucks were damaged. [1]
