On this day, it is recorded that:-
Robert Evans issued an internal memo regarding the Winter Train Service, and traffic to Gelert Siding and Croesor Junction.
It stressed the timing of the shunting between the above locations, and the need for the engine to return to Harbour Station (referred to as Portmadoc (Old) Station) in time to take the 2:10 pm departure. If there was need for further shunting at Gelert Siding, this would be done by the engine between 3:02 pm and the 5:10pm departure from Portmadoc (New).
Traffic on the Bryngwyn Branch was to be worked so that no overtime payments would be payable to Dinas Staff[1]
