On this day, the FRS announced

Andrew Hayward has decided to step down as Society Chairman in order to focus on being an active member of the Board of the FR Company and to do justice to that role. Andrew remains a Society Director. The Board wishes to express its gratitude for the considerable effort Andrew has consistently given whilst being Chairman.

The Board is pleased to welcome Phil Hawkins as the new Chairman and offers him their full support in his new role. Phil will be continuing with his responsibility for liaison between the Board and Area Groups
