Edwin R Jones (b.1882). born to Edwin and Catherine Jones

By 1891 they had moved to Penymeini, Penrhyndeudraeth. Ten years later they had moved to Bryn Meurig, Penrhyndeudraeth, just below Quarry Lane crossing. Edwin R. was now employed by the FR as a fitter.

Edwin R. had left to join the Merchant Navy which ended in tragedy when he was killed, being torpedoed off the coast of Sunderland May 30 1918.
