Electricity Sub Station

A small building erected in 1974 of rendered blockwork with flat roof, it is on the site of part of the original Engine House. Subsequently an extension to the No 1 Machine Shop was built in front of it and the office above that (completed 1980) now extends on to the roof of the Sub Station. It is probably now best considered part of the No 1 Machine Shop building.
