FRHG Exam Questions Revealed in Advance

Today 2024-11-18 the News on ABC-News had an article about some exam questions reavealed by mistake in advance of the exam.

Konrad Ardenauer the wily German politician and later the "Father of the New (Post WWII) Germany" and later Chancellor had this experience.

The whole classed discussed the problem of taking advantage of this situation while taking care of revealing the examiner's mistake by writinhg answers that where too similar.

Ardenauer provided the solution: the students would make a certain number of different and deliberate errors in inverse proportion to the student's rank.

This worked and the whole of the class passed the exam without rasising the suspicions of the school masters.
