Overview[edit]
References are defined within <ref>...</ref>
tags.
Issues and resolution[edit]
There is no content between the <ref>...</ref>
tags. Either delete the two tags, or put content between them, for example:<ref>content</ref>
; or, if you are reusing a named reference that's been defined elsewhere in the article use a single tag, for example <ref name="refname" />
Technical[edit]
Pages with this error message are placed into Pages with incorrect ref formatting. The system message page is at Cite error ref no input.
