Overview[edit]
When a page is referenced with <ref>...</ref>
tags, then the page must also have markup to show the reference list. The reference list is shown by including either of the following:
- {{Reflist}}
- or
<references />
<references />
shows a basic reference list, whereas {{Reflist}} may add formatting for font size and columns, depending on the skin and parameters used. This is normally placed in a References section near the end of the page.
References may also be assigned to groups. Grouped reference lists are shown with:
- {{Reflist|group=groupname}}
- or
<references group=groupname />
Issues and resolution[edit]
The <references />
tag is malformed. Using the {{reflist}} template will avoid most of the possible issues with the <references />
tag. See the documentation for details.
