Hunslet Hundred

Hunslet Hundred was a Grand Steam Gala held 1st - 3rd May 1993 to celebrate the hundredth birthdays of Blanche and Linda. It was described at the time as the biggest gala ever held by the Ffestiniog Railway. Visiting locomotives included:

Also in attendance was the Fairbourne Railway's miniature replica of Beddgelert. It is of note that amongst the guest locomotive list was the entire home fleet of the Bala Lake Railway. Palmerston was therefore sent to Bala to deputise for the weekend. It had originally been planned that War Department Light Railway 4-6-0T No 303 (Hunslet 1215) would attend but its overhaul was not completed in time.
