John Lloyd

A John Lloyd was Station Master at Dinas in 1865. He does not appear to have worked for the FR for very long as the only likely person is not shown in railway employment in the census returns for 1861 & 1871 (or any other). This person was born in 1818 in Maentwrog. It is thought it was the same person who exited a stationery carriage and fell onto Minffordd (Cambrian) platform. 29th August 1872. Died a few days later (3rd September). Census records for 1881 show his wife to be a widow which would seem to confirm we have found the right person.
