Johnny Jones

Labelled as Clerk in Works Office. We know nothing certain of him. He could be Johnny Jones of Railway View, Minffordd who would have been about 16 at the time of the photo. or he could also be Daniel Silfanus Williams, born in 1895 in Minffordd and we know from NUR records he was a FR Clerk in 1915. He lived at Tyddyn Llwyn Terrace, Minffordd. Johnny Jones is possibly the person in the photo known as Boyd26H. (click here to see) This photo is labelled "A Group taken in the Works Yard before the First War". It is believed to be around 1913. It is not all staff from the yard at that time. There was a list attached to the original which declares who the people are. This person is believed to be in the first row from the back and the second person from the left handside.
