Light Railways Research Society of Australia

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

The LRRSA was founded in 1961 and caters for those interested in all facets of industrial, private, tourist and narrow gauge railways in Australian and some nearby countries and its offshore teritories past and present. Cane tramways of mainly 2-feet (610mm) gauge are still being built, and feature miniature versions of main line standard gauge railways such as welded rail, ballasting trains, diesel locomotives, radio-controlled brake wagons.
