Nantmor road bridge is a steel girder bridge that carries the Welsh Highland Railway over the A4085 Beddgelert to Penrhyndeudraeth road. The original 1922 span had been left in place when the old WHR was dismantled. Unfortunately due to not having been painted when new and lack of maintenance subsequently it was not fit to be reused when the line was reopened, and a new span has been designed by John Sreeves and built by Brunswick Ironworks. A full account can be found on the WHR Project website here.
