Perseverance is a four-wheeled single cylinder vertical boilered steam locomotive normally to be found at the Launceston Steam Railway in Cornwall. It was originally built by Chris Parmenter at Launceston in 2004. Reported in early 2010 as under reconstruction with a new chassis, it attended the Quirks and Curiosities event on the FR from 30 April to 3 May 2010. For this event, its name was advertised as 'Perciverance'. Perseverance returned to the F&WHR for the second Quirks and Curiosities in 2017.
