Template:Tone/doc
This is a documentation subpage for Template:Tone (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
The {{tone}} template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Festipedia articles needing style editing. This template is a self-reference, and should not be substituted.
Usage[edit]
{{Tone|{{subst:DATE}}}}
To make the banner more specific, add |section
, or |article
:
{{Tone|section}}
and to include the date (recommended){{Tone|section|{{subst:DATE}}}}
{{Tone|article}}
and to include the date (recommended){{Tone|article|{{subst:DATE}}}}
To link to a relevant discussion, use the |talk=

{{Tone|talk=Discussion of tone issues}}
{{Tone|talk=Talk:Another Article#Relevant discussion section}}
