Thomas Cooke was a signalman, born in Scarborough in 1816.
In 1871 he was a signalman living in one of the tunnel cottages, and in 1881 he was living at "Wooden Shop", Blaenau Ffestiniog, working as a railway labourer (probably not FR, probably in connection with the building of the LNWR).
