On this day, only 2 weeks after its previous meeting, the FR Co. board met again.
The company resolved to write to H.B. Roberts of the Croesor and Port Madoc Railway (the current owners of the Croesor line), to advise that the FR board had no desire to merge with his company.
The Welsh Slate Company were refusing to pay demurrage on the wagons kept for over 24 hours by the company.
Fifty new wagons were ordered to be built to similar dimensions as the larger ones.
