Yes the date in the title of this article is wrong, the story is dated 1865 in the first link. (The second link doesn't work). Is it possible to change the titles of Wiki articles?

There's also a bit of spurious gibberish in the text which is in the transcribed text but not on the facsimile.

Double rail ?

Is the "doublerail" mentioned in the text a "check rail", used mainly on very sharp curves? FarleyBrook (talk) 10:09, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
