Horses[edit]
Should mention briefly when changeover from horses to locomotives took place. FarleyBrook (talk) 03:38, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
England Engines#List of the England locomotives says 1863. FarleyBrook (talk) 03:44, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
(QNNA) Did main line horse haulage finish in 1863 as well? FarleyBrook (talk) 03:44, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Exemplar[edit]
The claim that the Festiniog Railway was a World exemplar should be expanded here or in a separate article. FarleyBrook (talk) 05:14, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
Origin of name[edit]
- The name Ffestiniog looks like it came down the centuries from old Common Celtic Festiniakon (Latin Festiniacum), meaning "Land or place owned by a man named Festinus or Festinius". Anthony Appleyard (talk) 12:28, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
