On the morning of the 10th October Welsh Pony was officially renamed in a ceremony at Dduallt attended by the locomotive's supporters. The renaming was carried out by Michael Davies and Robert Smallman, two of the society's longest standing members. The engine was crewed by the youngest available volunteers to represent the passing of the railway between generations. The train then continued to Blaenau Ffestiniog. |
