Director Lists

I have not said anything whilst you have input the different lists, as I didnt expect any problems with the formats you were doing. I also welcome others doing some of the leg work I havent had chance to do.

However, I did have concerns over the consolidation of the FRC Directors list to include from 1832 to 2009. This was because of the complete change in 1954. Previous to that point there is the crossover with companies, NWNGR, PBSSR, WHR, whereas subsequently its all FRS, Trust, Heritage, Travel etc. There is no cross over, ignoring the sepecial EGM whereby the old directors stood down, and the new ones elected.

Until this evening, even this wasnt much of a problem. However, you deleted the references to the spillt files, which contained links from each and every one of the entries involved. Eg. if you look at Arthur Lambert, you will see there is a link to Directors, Post-1954, or Samuel Spooner, where there is a link to Festiniog Railway, Directors, Pre-Preservation. Okay sport we're on the same sheet.

You said a reference work such as the Festipedia it is necessary to be precise as to whether the Ffestiniog Railway or the Festiniog Railway Company are being referred to. The unique features, for example, with the exception of the statutory company one, all relate specifically to the FR.
